
Electronics technician for operating technology
As an electronics technician for operating technology, you will be found wherever our operating and production systems are in use: You lay lines and cables, install the systems, put them into operation and, if necessary, also rectify faults.
Our electronics technicians for industrial engineering carry out their activities independently in compliance with the relevant regulations and safety provisions and coordinate their work with upstream and downstream departments in the company. During your training, you will also learn how to install electrical components such as connections, switches or sensors, as well as entire systems, with the help of circuit diagrams.

- Classical installation work in building electronics up to bus systems (KNX)
- Monitoring and maintenance of machinery and equipment
- Carrying out regular checks and measurements in accordance with the standard
- Analysis and rectification of faults on devices, machines and systems
- Taking immediate measures for the repair of machinery and equipment
- Project-oriented machine and plant modifications and extensions
- Project-oriented planning, organisation and implementation of machinery and plant erection in a young motivated team
- Assembly and wiring of control cabinets, drive and automation systems according to standard
- Checking the functions and the safety devices of the systems according to the state of the art
- Programming and configuration of various control and visualization systems

You enjoy technical and craft challenges and have good imagination and thinking skills. A thorough and careful way of working is just as much a part of your strengths as the ability to work in a team.
TRAINING PERIOD:
The training lasts 3.5 years.
TRAINING LOCATIONS:
A significant part of the training takes place in our electronics maintenance team. A further component of your training is the vocational school, which you will attend in Lennestadt. The combination of training company and vocational school ensures that you receive targeted training with many other trainees from other companies.
