Industrial mechanic

Industrial mechanics are responsible for the assembly, modification and maintenance of all extrusion lines, packaging and injection moulding machines. Without them, many a machine would come to a standstill! Another focus of your work is the creation of welded constructions on the basis of sketches and drawings.

In this profession you are therefore on duty on the entire company premises. To ensure that you are well prepared for your future job, you will not only work in our maintenance shop during your training, but will also gain an insight into all departments where production or packaging takes place.

THESE TRAINING CONTENTS AWAIT YOU:

• Construction and modification of extrusion lines, packaging and injection moulding machines
• Repair and maintenance of operational equipment
• Processing of products for the construction of cooling, temperature control and heating systems
• Creation of welded constructions on the basis of sketches and drawings
• Round trip through our industrial departments – this is how you get to know the various production and packaging facilities.

YOUR INTERESTS AND STRENGTHS:

You are interested in technology and enjoy working with metals as materials. You also have basic physical resilience, manual dexterity and good dexterity.

SCHOOL REQUIREMENTS:

We would like to see a good secondary school leaving certificate.

TRAINING PERIOD:

The training lasts 3.5 years.

TRAINING LOCATIONS:

Your training will take place in our maintenance plant in Attendorn. We also cooperate with training workshops in the surrounding area. At the vocational school in Attendorn you will acquire the necessary theoretical knowledge for the successful practice of your future profession.
