Mechatronics engineer (Radeberg)

Our machines and systems consist of mechanical and electronic components – all the more important that our mechatronics engineers have knowledge in both mechanics and electronics and can combine both areas. As a mechatronics engineer, you will be needed almost everywhere in the company. The further you are in your training, the more demanding your tasks will be! In the end, as a mechatronics technician you will not only be able to assemble systems and devices professionally, but you will also be able to recognise faults immediately and rectify them.

THESE TRAINING CONTENTS AWAIT YOU:

• Plan and prepare work tasks
• Application and preparation of technical documentation
• Design / programming of electronic circuits
• Installing hardware and software components
• Assembly of mechanical and electronic components and
• Systems incl. Commissioning
• Maintain, service and repair systems and equipment
• Testing of control and regulating equipment

YOUR INTERESTS AND STRENGTHS:

You should bring enthusiasm for technical and manual challenges with you for this profession. A good spatial sense and a careful and precise way of working are also important.

SCHOOL REQUIREMENTS:

We would like to see a Realschulabschluss with particular strengths in mathematics, physics and computer science.

TRAINING PERIOD:

The training lasts 3.5 years.

TRAINING LOCATIONS:

The practical training takes place in cooperation with the IHK in Dresden and in the company. At the vocational school in Dresden you will acquire the necessary theoretical knowledge for the successful practice of your future profession.
