The transmission of viruses via air conditioning and ventilation systems (HVAC systems) has become the focus of much discussion as a result of the corona pandemic. According to current knowledge, the distribution of corona viruses via air conditioning and ventilation systems can be ruled out if the air supplied to the room is filtered in accordance with standards. Due to the mode of operation via a radiation exchange between the room enclosure surfaces and the active cooling surface, there is no permanent air movement and thus no uncomfortable drafts that could distribute bacteria, fungi or viruses in the room.
aquatherm black system works silently and has a very low energy consumption. The system, made of the corrosion-resistant material polypropylene, is operated with higher flow temperatures than other cooling systems and thus enables a particularly efficient and energy-saving operation. If a combined system consisting of panel heating/cooling and ventilation system is necessary due to the usage and building-specific characteristics (thermal and humidity conditions), the ventilation system can be designed smaller and thus more cost-effective with regard to the system components. This concerns the components for the thermal treatment of the air and related components such as dehumidifiers and humidifiers.
