After my secondary school leaving certificate, I wanted to become a radio and television technician. But as apprenticeships were few and far between and I really wanted to do something in the field of electronics, I decided to train as an electrician, which I started at aquatherm on 1 August 1973. At that time, the company was still called Rosenberg & Mantei and was based in Gerhard Rosenberg’s garage. After completing my military service in the German Armed Forces, I returned to aquatherm and experienced and helped shape the development from the then 2-man business to the company of today.

To describe my various stations in the company would go beyond the scope here. But to get to the point: I have always been active where I was needed. Today, I am the longest-employed employee in the company and lead our eight-man team of craftsmen, which consists of heating and plumbing fitters, painters, electricians and roofers and takes care of all the buildings and much more.

In the more than 40 years at aquatherm I have had and still have the freedom to make many decisions myself. This freedom to make decisions and the trust that comes with it are not something I take for granted, but are what make aquatherm special for me.

I have been with aquatherm for more than 40 years.
