For example, when used as cooling piping in the offshore wind industry, it ensures smooth operation of wind turbines for decades. Our polypropylene pipes are connected by heat fusion, which creates a homogeneous, cohesive unit with no leak path. The product also provides excellent vibration absorption even in harsh sea conditions. Even an aggressive medium, such as seawater used in offshore cooling systems, will not adversely affect our piping system.
aquatherm blue pipe also meets the safety requirements for underground piping systems thanks to its safe and virtually leak-free connections. It is therefore ideally suited for geothermal energy systems for heating water or air-conditioning.
