Marion – Sales Controller
After completing my secondary school education at the Realschule in Wenden, I first completed a manual apprenticeship. Then I decided to do a second apprenticeship as an industrial clerk because I wanted to learn a commercial profession. My strengths and abilities find a home here. Following my apprenticeship, I took another semester of English and Spanish at the language school in Siegen because I wanted to strengthen myself in the area of business foreign languages.
On 1 January 2005 I started at aquatherm as an employee in the reception & information service. Along the way, I passed my training aptitude test at the Siegen Chamber of Industry and Commerce in 2009. After a short break due to parental leave, I started with 15 hours a week as a team assistant in our specialist centre for supply technology. In the meantime, I work 30 hours a week on 3.5 days in the office. In order to be able to do one or two tasks flexibly, I was given the option of a home office. Working from home and combining my job with my family is very valuable to me. My responsibilities include the preparation and follow-up of construction projects for domestic and export, the coordination of the scheduling of our service technicians and the support of the technical hotline.
