Peter – Laboratory employee

After graduating from secondary school in Olpe, I trained as a bricklayer and worked as a journeyman for a year. After that I went to the Bundeswehr for four years. Before I retrained as an industrial mechanic (machine and systems engineering) at LEWA in Attendorn, I worked as a foundryman for two years.

I joined the company through my brother in April 1993. At the beginning I worked as a production worker in the extrusion department. After six months, I switched to the laboratory as a shift tester and thus found my dream job. Over all these years, I have been able to grow with the company and continuously improve my skills. I was and am both challenged and encouraged. Today I am a real all-rounder. In addition to the incoming inspection of raw materials and brass parts, I am jointly responsible for a wide variety of special inspections.

I really enjoy working with the different departments. No matter where I call: I always get support from colleagues everywhere.
