Decades of experience in the manufacture and use of polypropylene piping systems and the simultaneous striving for continuous further development have led to numerous improvements in the aquatherm products.
This is based on the innovative polypropylene materials developed and produced by us, which became known under the name fusiolen ® . Successful results of research & amp; Development are fusiolen ® PP-R, fusiolen ® PR-R FS and fusiolen ® PP-RCT.
fusiolen ® stands out. a. due to its special high heat and extraction stability. Above all, the good weldability and the fusion into a homogeneous unit have made the material and the aquatherm polypropylene systems known worldwide. Its physical and chemical properties are tailored to the special needs of the respective areas of application such as drinking water, heating and cooling or sprinkler application.
fusiolen ® is an environmentally friendly material that can be recycled and reused in various applications. Environmentally hazardous substances are not produced during processing or later disposal.
Worldwide, fusiolen ® is valued for its durability, chemical purity and low environmental impact.
Hygienic suitability
According to DIN 1988 T2 all installation parts coming directly in contact with potable water are commodity goods acc. to the Law for Food and Commodity Goods. Plastic pipes have to comply with the KTW-recommendations of the Federal Public Health Department. further information
Chemical and thermal disinfection
Contrary to the disinfection of drinking water, the disinfection of a system is a discontinuous measure, comprising a drinking water system from the area of contamination to the tapping point of the consumer. In general, a disinfection is to be applied temporarily only in case of a proven contamination. further information

Faser-composite technology
aquatherm is proud to manufacture its own glass-fibre reinforced polypropylene composite. Our three-layer pipes are extruded with a fibre-reinforced middle layer that strengthens the pipe and restricts expansion and contraction.
The benefits of this construction include:
- linear expansion reduced 75 percent compared with standard PP pipe
- 20 percent increased flow rate due to smaller required wall thickness
- longer support intervals and reduced number of clamps compared to standard plastic pipes
- optimum cost-performance ratio
- high stability
- lower weight
- high impact resistance
- simply cut and heat-fuse
