New article numbers, EAN/GTIN number and barcode remain unchanged

 

The introduction of SAP S/4HANA makes it necessary the change of article numbers from 5- or 7-digit to 10-digit numbers. This step was necessary to cover the requirements of SAP and to position aquatherm for the future. The EAN or GTIN number and the corresponding barcode remain identical, as the products have not changed.

Articles that were produced before 31.12.2021 and are in stock will be delivered with the old article number. There will be no relabeling of stock items. Articles that are newly produced from 03.01.2022 will be delivered with the new article number. Our pipes are an exception: the new article number will be printed on the pipe, and the pipe film will be gradually converted to the new article numbers over the next few months. For all deliveries, the delivery notes as well as the invoices, will show both numbers with immediate effect; the old number will be shown in brackets (see sample documents).
