From the garage to around 70 countries: aquatherm GmbH, based in Attendorn, is celebrating its 50th anniversary. The employees of the manufacturer of plastic piping systems made of polypropylene celebrated the anniversary with a party, an event week was organised for the worldwide partners and there is also a reason to celebrate for the customers in the anniversary year. 

The aquatherm family from all German locations (including colleagues from Ennest and Radeberg) came together on the grounds of the Hoeschhallen in Attendorn for the staff party on 18 August.  The managing directors Christof, Dirk and Maik Rosenberg reviewed the company history. The Rosenberg family received a special award from the Managing Director of the Siegen Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Klaus Gräbener. He awarded the IHK certificate of honour for 50 years of successful entrepreneurial activity.

Parallel to the aquatherm birthday, an employee also celebrated an anniversary: Andreas Simon has been employed at aquatherm for 50 years and has experienced all the developments in the company from its foundation to its current size. He was specially honoured by the management at the employee party.

The event week for the international aquatherm partners started with a workshop at the aquatherm Campus. The focus was on the topic of "sustainable building", which is particularly close to aquatherm's heart, true to the brand message "Part of the solution". In addition, a hike took place at the Biggesee, close to the aquatherm headquarters in Attendorn. The highlight of the anniversary celebrations was a drone show in which important stages in the company's history and topics close to aquatherm's heart were conjured up in the night sky over the Biggesee. 

Many innovations in the anniversary year

The anniversary year 2023 is characterised by numerous innovations: For example, the company's new website has been online since July. It makes it easier for users to find all relevant information and also offers many visual changes. The new website has also been accompanied by a revised external image: The circle is the focus of the new brand appearance and thus picks up on aquatherm's core product - the pipe - in a modern way.
